Pink Ladies Maids of Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City Nevada has been cleaning homes in Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder city since 1983 and we have seen the ebb and flow of our local economy. In the early and mid 1990's we saw a boom to the economy that not many city's have seen sine the likes of the Gold Rush 1850's.
The city's of Las Vegas and Henderson grew expediently it seemed as though a corner on the every day drive back and forth to work each day I would notice a different building pop up. I became so busy here that people were coming from across the country to find work and live the american dream right here in Las Vegas. Thing here in Las Vegas were at a all time high the construction boom made everything so easy, office popping
up needed janitorial the new managers in those offices were so busy they needed someone to do the house cleaning for them. Around town car dealerships were opening supermarkets and neighborhoods began to sprawl it was a very busy an prosperous time for all. Las Vegas and Henderson had a long period of prosperity from the early 1990's to the late 2000's we saw casinos implode and new one's take there place we saw families grow and a population of Las Vegans grow up here. Since the stock market crash in Late 2008 we saw a whole different migration one going the opposite direction to what we were use to all the sudden building came to a screeching halt the same people that were benefiting from their jobs here in Las Vegas all the sudden the jobs and the money dried up, I cant help but make the desert comparison, people that were living the American Dream were now looking down the barrel of no job, possible foreclosure on their home and no prospects in site. The resorts got hit hard people didn't have money to spend on going out of town especially spend at a gambling table. The the word economy crashed and the state of Nevada in turmoil the cleaning businesses in in Las Vegas and Henderson saw about a 75% decrease soon old customer began calling to cancel the Cleaning Services in their homes and the offices we began to see the desks empty out and eventually the corporate office would call to cancel the service completely. It was had time but things have started to change building is picking up jobs are coming back and foreclosures have subsided. Life is back to normal and jobs are coming back building is beginning to start again.
